Ben Garratt Absolutely beautiful. An ethereal swirling soundscape of an album, reminiscent in part of Hammock, Slow Meadow and Slow Dancing Society. Truly a joy of melancholy. Favorite track: Wells.

about

'Scenes From The Countless Downward Spirals' is one half of a collection of songs written by Alex Reade & Miles Whittaker throughout 2022.

Capturing the darker moments of life, this half explores themes of sadness, loss, and grief through cinematic ambient soundscapes and emotive songs, from the choral 'Goodbye to Youth' to the gentle synthetic ambience of 'Crown Point'.

These songs serve not only as the capturing of two friends exploring emotion and vulnerability, but also as a reminder that it's normal and expected to go through darker times, and that the light will inevitably find you again.

Whilst these albums may not have been originally intended to be released under the Little Music alias, for them to see the light of day and be shared with the world is incredibly important to me and something that I am eternally grateful for.
